Perú - Cashapampa-Santa Cruz-Vaqueria-LLanganuco Trek

Itineray:
1st day: Transfer: Huaraz – Caraz, - Cashapampa (2900) – Llamacorral (3760).Camping.
(4-5 h walking)
We leave Huaraz early in the morning, by road to the trailhead at Cashapampa (2,900m). From there, donkeys will carry our gear. After 4 hours walking we'll have lunch in the shade of quenuales. We then continue to a flat meadow called Llamacoral at 3760m and set camp. |

2nd day: Llamacorral (3760) - Taullipampa (4250) Today we pass the little lakes Ichiccocha and Jatuncocha, than we observe the summits of Aguja de Santa Cruz, Pumapampa, Curuicachajana, Quitaraju, ALPAMAYO, Pucahirca, Rinrinjirca, Taullipampa, Artesonraju, Paria, Millishraju. We arrive at the camping-site. From here we enjoy a beautiful view to the summit of Taullipampa(6 h of walking). |
3rd day: Taullipampa (4250) - Quebrada Paria (3870) Today we climb up the way to Punta Union (4.750m). From here we have an impressive view to the summits of the Cordillera Blanca, f.e. Taulliraju, Rinrijircas, Pucahircas, Quitaraju, Santa Cruz, Artesonraju, Pirámide de Garcilazo, Paria, Millishraju. Now we descend until a place at the mountaine ravine of Paria, where we camp this night. |

4th day: Quebrada de Paria (3870) - Vaquería (3850m) We walk downhill to the valley. It observe us pictoresques like Yurma, Huaripampa, Colcabamba. We enjoy a spectacular view at Chacraraj and the village Vaquería. At Vaqueria we catch the bus to Huaraz. On our return we can see the lakes of Llanganuco (Chinancocha y Orconcocha). We pass the pass of Portachuelo (4780) viewing Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, los picos de los cuatro Huandoys, Pisco. Step by step we descend to Yungay. Transport to Huaraz.End of our service. |
The trip includes:

Lightweight walking shoes/sandals/socks/pants/short pants/T-shirts (long sleeve and short sleeve)/sunglasses/sunscreen/plastic bags/warm sleeping bag /light weight trekking boots/wool socks/light weight treeking pants/waterproof pants and jacket/fleece/Goretex/hat/mits or warm gloves/thermal liners/camera/bandana or hat against sun/headlamp with extra batteries.
- Safety Individual gear:
Glacier glasses 100% UV with rigid case (2 pair recommended)/ goggles/ sunscreen with maximum protection/lipbalm/4 season sleeping bag/ sleeping pad or thermarest/hat/thermal underwear/fleece jacket/fleece pants/down jacket/Goretex jacket or similar material/2 pairs of gloves or mittens/ pair of thermal glove liners/2 pairs of thermal sock liners/plastic boots/gaiters.
