Itineray
1st day: Huaraz ( 3100) – Huallanca – Matacancha ( 3900)
Leaving Huaraz at 8.00 am by bus towards Huallanca to Matacancha. Camping at Matacancha (3900)

2nd day: Matacancha (3900) - Mitococha Lake (4100). Walking-time about 5 – 6 hours. We pass the first pass of Cacananpunta (4700) and see the summits of some mountains like Ninashanca, Rondoy, lakes of Pucacocha, Yanacocha Chico and Grande. Then we descend until the camping at Mitococha with the view to the summits of Rondoy and Hirishanca. |
3rd day: Mitococha Lake (4100) - Carhuacocha Lake (4138).
Walking-time about 5-6 hours. Passing the second pass of Punta Carhuac (4650). We descend a ravine for reaching our camping at Carhuacocha. Enjoying the panoramic view to the mountains of Jirishanca, Yerupaja, Toro, etc. |

4th day: Carhuacocha Lake (4138) - Huayhuash. (4100).
Walking-time about 6 – 7 hours. Passing the pass of Siula (4800). We descend to the lake of Suerococh, view to the mountains Siula, Jurau, Carnicero and Trapecio. |
5th day: Huayhuash (4100) - Viconga Lake (4407)
5- 6 hours. Ascening the 4th pass of Portachuelo (4750). Enjoying the view to Puscanturpa, Cuyoc, Millpo and parts of the Cordillera Raura. We arrive our camping at Viconga (4300). It is possible to take a bath at the hot springs of Atuscancha (4000). |

6th day: Viconga Lake (4407) – Guanacpatay (3900)
4- 5 hours. Passing the 5th pass of Cuyoc (5000). It`s the most highest one. We descend to our camping-site and enjoy the view to the mountains of Cuyoc, Trapecio and Puscanturpa. |
7th day: Guanacpatay (4250) Paso San Antonio (4850 aprox.)
We descend to Calinca (4250) and visit the lake of Jurau (4350) 6 -7 hours. |

8th day: Calinca Camping (4250) Visiting the lake of Sarapococha (4505) We return to the same camping-site. We enjoy the view to the summits of Siula. Yerupaja, Carnicero and some others. |
9th day:Calinca Camping (4250) Descend to the village of Huallyapa (3500)
4 -5 hours. We observe the costumes of the living at the village. |

10th day: Pueblo de Huallyapa (3500) Paso Tapush (4800) Campamento Anguscancha (4200) 6-7 hours walking-time. We pass very close to the mountain devil |
11th day: Anguscancha Camping (4200) Paso Yaucha (4847) y campamento Jahuacocha (4066) 5-6 hours of walking. Observing the mountains Yerupaja, Jirishanca, Rondoy and others. |

12th day: Jahuacocha Camping (4066) Solterococha (4120) Base-camp of Yerupaja and return. 7-8 hours walking. We walk close to the mountains of the Cordillera Huayhuash. |
13th day: Jahuacocha Lake (4066) - Llamac (3250) Walking about 5-6 hours.We pass the last pass of Pampa de Llamac (4300) and see for the last time the summits of the Cordillera Huayhuash. We arrive at Chiquián (3400). Transfer to Huaraz. |

The trip includes:

Tea, coffee, popcorn.

Lightweight walking shoes/sandals/socks/pants/short pants/T-shirts (long sleeve and short sleeve)/sunglasses/sunscreen/plastic bags/warm sleeping bag /light weight trekking boots/wool socks/light weight treeking pants/waterproof pants and jacket/fleece/Goretex/hat/mits or warm gloves/thermal liners/camera/bandana or hat against sun/headlamp with extra batteries.
- Safety Individual gear:
Glacier glasses 100% UV with rigid case (2 pair recommended)/ goggles/ sunscreen with maximum protection/lipbalm/4 season sleeping bag/ sleeping pad or thermarest/hat/thermal underwear/fleece jacket/fleece pants/down jacket/Goretex jacket or similar material/2 pairs of gloves or mittens/ pair of thermal glove liners/2 pairs of thermal sock liners/plastic boots/gaiters.
